A waypoint is a destination or reference point in a physical space, otherwise known as a landmark. With a destination set, you need to get there, and without actually previously travelling to them outside of Google Maps, we’re open to accecpt what the journey may present. That is where the story is created.
“In the modern world, waypoints are increasingly abstract.”
Being self propelled and pedaling out to these spots has it’s advantages; there can be washouts on the roads and some tough crossings that vehicles are just not capable of. Most cases we’re able to just ride though, and if that doesn’t pan out being on bikes gives us the advantage of being able to toss the bikes onto a shoulder and walk though. The only real draw back is having around ten hours of saddle time a day. Which is why a rest day and feed zone at the destination are always welcome.
Waypoints is based around having a destination as the final goal, and having a goal is some solid advice to bestow. Goals. From summits to swimming holes there is a wealth of worthwhile places to visit, and hopefully getting there can create some worthwhile stories to tell.

A behind the scenes look at some incredibly raw emotion, most likely Oscar worthy. Just like Three Six Mafia.
